Ever since he baffled GameCube owners with 2005’s Killer7, Japanese sport director Suda51 has had a recognition for turning heads. From parodying the banality of initiate-world video games with 2007’s No More Heroes to participating with James Gunn for 2012’s pulpy Lollipop Chainsaw, his video games generally supply a welcome reprieve from soulless, half of-a-billion-dollar-price range gaming blockbusters.
